What is the idea behind ‘natural cleaning products’?
Most artificial cleaning products are made using chemicals and harmful substances. You may not know that some artificial fruit scents (for example pear) are made by mixing an acid (such as butanoic acid) and an alcohol together. Many dish soaps and laundry detergents contain these fruit scents and it certainly seems unpleasant to have these substances on your hands and clothes. Moreover, it can cause irritation and allergic reactions to your delicate skin.
For many years before chemicals were used for cosmetics and artificial purposes, natural substances, such as orange peels were used to clean the dishes. And there are many benefits to using natural cleaning products. When cleaning products are manufactured in factories, the machines may make errors with the acid to alkali ratio and trust me, no one wants to get concentrated acid on their hands. That’s why our product is prepared at home and everything is measured and remeasured to make sure there are no errors. We also test our detergent before selling so each batch is safe, reliable, and does its job.
Our natural detergent doesn’t contribute to global warming and climate change, whereas factories release high amounts of carbon dioxide for their machines to run. Major businesses also charge more money for what it is worth because the majority of the profit goes to the government. We, on the other hand, use all natural ingredients (no substitutes) and are not contracted to the government. We don’t see many PET (recycled plastic) bottles used for cleaning products because they are harder and more expensive to produce. But this is not ecologically right and with our ‘Make it yourself’ instructions, you can make the detergent yourself without having to pay for anything except for ingredients (sugar and orange peels) which most households already have.
